has been so neglected lately. a combination of being busy, i feel like it's just been go, go, go & maybe some winter blues?! i don't know is it even possible to suffer from the winter blues in florida?! whatever the case may be despite having an awesome christmas & new year & all the fun that's been going on i have just been feeling kind of down lately & can't really put my finger on it.
anyways it seems like it's been non-stop for weeks & it isn't going to slow down anytime soon. we've been doing all the normal little things.
we have also made a family trip out to orlando to go to seaworld. we just got home from a camping trip. today my in-laws flew in from michigan. we will be heading out to stay the night with them tomorrow, we've got monster jam on saturday & then we are all going to disney world on sunday.
from there my in-laws are keeping the boys mon-wed at which time we will go back out there. what does this mean?! they get to spend some quality time with the kids. i am excited for myself to get a [much needed] break but i am more excited for them to all get to know each other. the last time they saw the kids colton was just barely two & braedon wasn't even 6 months old yet. obviously, they are totally different kids now! i hope they all have a blast. my parents live so close they get to not just see, but keep the kids for the weekend all the time, i am excited that my in-laws finally will be able to spend some quality time with the kids. jeremiah's grandparents are also coming down so the kids will get to know them a little better as well. oh & as if we needed more excitement, my sister in law is flying in for the weekend & going to disney with us! it should be a fun [& busy] weekend.
something else exciting going on?! we are currently planning our anniversary/family vacation in march. we had originally planned on a a cruise, then we were going to go camping out of state without the kids, but in the end we decided on making it a family affair. we will be staying in orlando a monday through friday & will be visiting all four disney parks. as florida residents we get great deals for multiple day tickets. I am stoked. to be celebrating 5 wonderful years with my husband & that our kids will be part of the celebration with us. we have been up north as a family, when the kids were little & we've been camping for a couple days a few couple times but this is like our first real big family vacation [or staycation] yes, even though orlando is in our backyard i consider it vacation, staying in a hotel for almost a week, doing the things the tourists do. yep, i can't wait.
bottom line, i am really trying to get back into the blogging grove. with my kids being away & jeremiah having to work each of those days next week i should have plenty of time to update & post about all the fun activities.
... & a little warning, i just bought a new memory card for all the upcoming fun so yes there will be pictures, lots & lots of pictures coming!
